From: "Melissa" Eggs are quick, easy, full of protein, and there are a ton of ways you can make them. I know that - but what about us people that don't like eggs? Any more good breakfast choices without the eggs you guys can recommend? I'm currently eating porridge (flaked oats with semi skimmed milk) with a banana in I take a sweet potato slice it along the length side. (long flat pieces) Spay a frying pan with that pan spray which has not fat or calories to it. I fry a two pieces of that warm sweet potato and put them inside two pieces of stone ground whole wheat bread.. Breakfast! (I put the remaining slices in bowl of water and set them in the frig for another time) I know that might sound a bit "out there" for a breakfast but it does work for me. (now and then for variety) Monte Who loves his southern food. That is: omitting the lard of course. |

changing slowly

Okay, I'm taking all of your advice, sucking it up, and going for a walk, started yesterday, and am getting ready to lace up again. Not sure when I'm going to fit weights in yet, but walking is something that I can easily fit in to my schedule. Also starting to write down everything that goes into my mouth. Wow!!!! don't know if I like the numbers I'm seeing, and it's only 1:30 in the afternoon. Anyone have any suggestions for breakfast type stuff that isn't astronomically high in carbs that's quick and easy? boiled egg and precooked sausage patties that microwave in 50 seconds, add slice of cheese. |

Breakfast was changing slowly
This morning I had a tuna melt for breakfast.
2 small pieces of wholemeal bread 2oz tuna in brine, drained 1/2oz cheese, grated Toasted under the grill (broiler). It tasted amazing (I think that may have been the cheese - haven't had any for a few weeks!) and kept me from being hungry until I got home from Court at 2.30. Regards Cellach |
