Default Back on track?

"Gabriela Kessler" wrote in message
...
Two years ago I went down to under 150 (from 170). I know, it's not a lot,
but I wish I could go back to that weight. As of today, my weight has
crawled back to about 165. I feel bloated, uncomfy and need some help to

get
back on track. But where to start?

I almost completely stopped drinking water. I know I have to drink it

again,
I really don't know why I stopped in the first place.

Any ideas on how to get started again? Would you recommend keeping a food
journal or should I just guestimate my calorie intake? I'm a bit tired of
writing down every single bite, I did that for almost 6 months. I know it
helped but I doubt I have the energy to do that again...

Gabriela

Welcome to the group, Gavriela.

You may already have this site www.fitday.com for journaling.

I agree that keeping a daily journal is not for everyone. I have the
tendency to eat about the same foods during the week so I have a fairly
accurate accounting of calories for these days without entering them into
Fitday. I normally journal only on weekends as they often vary much more.
This might help to cut down your journaling time if you follow a similar
eating pattern. That said, journeling is a very important part of losing
weight for many of us and might help you get back on track.

Are you following any specific diet plan or simply going to cut calories?
Don't forget the exercise part of your plan. I have a hard time dropping
pounds without exercise especially when it's just a few pounds to lose.

Hope to see you posting often.

Beverly
