Default Back On Track

Hi Guys,
For anyone who might be having a problem as I did at staying at the same
weight for weeks, this is what I finally did and it helped.

I had been weighing the same weight for three weeks or more and it just
wasn't moving. I was walking regularly and watching the calories, but it
just wasn't enough.
Then since I don't drive, and I really don't have room for exercise
equipment in my house, I decided to add just a half hour or so of dancing
to sixty's music each day. So in my room, with the radio on to a 60's music
station, I just pretended I was back in the 60's again. It was fun and I
feel good, my blood pressure is now around 110/70, each day, my weight is
moving so that now each day I am down about half a pound, a pound every two
days, and I am keeping a diary of what I eat. Something I never did before.
Every time I reach a goal, I put a star on the calendar. I sure hope this
keeps going. If not, I will be asking you folks for advice.
Started this week weighing 169, now it is 166. I had been at 169 for a
month, but I didn't give up because before that I had lost from 188. I
can't believe it that I am telling total strangers my weight, something I
don't tell my husband. He doesn't have a weight problem at all, but is
very supportive and telling me how nice I am looking and that he can tell
that I am losing weight. When I get my weight to less than he weighs, I
think I will tell him how much I way. Sandy 188/166/130

That's great! I'm glad you found a way over your stall spot. I also
have the urge to tell totals strangers of success. Them: Hello. Me:
Hi! Lost a pound and a half this week! Down 33 pounds in all. I try
to quell that urge with total total strangers, because I know they
probably don't *really* care, but I can't contain myself around my
coworkers!
