Hibernation Diet anyone?
it's rather surprising that the search for "Hibernation Diet" didn't
get any result in any newsgroup... it is said that the book sold 150,000 copies in UK.... and the books is licensed to be published in America, Australia, New Zealand, and Russia so this Hibernation Diet is something like this: eat a teaspoonful of honey every night before you sleep... because of the balance of fructose and glucose in honey, it will let your body have enough sugar throughout the night and let the body burn fat throughout the night, just like a bear will burn its body fat throughout the winter, when hibernating. the book surprisingly does not promote much exercise, stating that it will hurt the joints... but some resistance exercise is recommended (lifting a little weights).... |

That would be good for utility bills in winter. I wouldn't expect much exercise with a diet like this, as it pretty much ruins hibernating. Maybe only sleepwalking would be an appropriate level of exercise. Thanks for calling my attention to this marvelous new approach. I was working on the Sloth diet, but when I really found out what Sloths eat, I backed off. You would probably lose weight eating those bugs and worms. -- 1) Eat Till SATISFIED, Not STUFFED... Atkins repeated 9 times in the book 2) Exercise: It's Non-Negotiable..... Chapter 22 title, Atkins book 3) Don't Diet Without Supplemental Nutrients... Chapter 23 title, Atkins book 4) A sensible eating plan, and follow it. Hibernation Diet anyone?
whatever. any extra calories consumed wheither its a balance of sugars fructose and glucose is just extra carbs. extra carbs turn to fat, turn to extra weight. one teaspoon is 80calories. unless you eat in moderation throughout the day and exercise (at lease some brisk walking for 20min) each day, dont expect dramatic results. |
