Thanks for the answers. What is the healthiest Subway sandwich if I may
ask? I'm not home at all during the morning so Subway serves as my
midday meal.

flour products are not nutritious
flour products are UNHEALTHY
do not eat them!
humans did not evolve eating flour products.
There are a relatively new thing.
They are bad for people.
We are not supposed to eat flour products.
I HATE FLOUR PRODUCTS.
They make me feel sick, depressed, and tired, and gain weight.
I ate them for most of my life before I realized that this **** was
doing these things to me.

The things you should avoid are sugar, flour, and any kind of bad fats:
saturated fat, trans-fat, partially hydrogenated oil. Also only eat a
small amount of salt.

The things you should get are raw fruits, raw vegetables, raw nuts,
lean meats, unsaturated fats, omega 3 fatty acids. wild salmon is the
best meat.

Oh my... I'm so glad I'm not following your way of life!!
Will~

It does seem a bit......limiting...doesn't it? I wonder if GA has been
reading Dr. Perricone.

I still really don't get why you're supposed to stop living to be
healthy..

I eat whatever I want, whenever I want, make an effort to make healthy
choices, I keep an eye on portions, work out reasonably... lost 7o lbs,
gained 10, am losing them...

I live, I go out, I eat out, I enjoy myself..
Will~

I agree with you 100%. The food is not the problem--the problem is how
often and how much I choose to eat of it. If certain foods disagree with
me, I avoid them. Maybe that is why GA avoids all the things on her "hate"
list. I'm just glad I am not so limited.

You can always get a sandwich, then take off the top piece of bread. Tell
them to go easy on the mayo, and have no cheese, or no oil and vinegar. You
can dress it up or down any way you choose. Or just make sure you count it
into your total calorie intake for the day. If you plan for a 500 calorie
lunch, it shouldn't be a problem. I think turkey is probably a better
choice. Go to the Subway website. They have all the calorie and nutrition
counts there.

How many calories does one spend if he sits around all day?

Everything on moderation of course

Please, any feedback is highly appreciated!

You can eat anything you want as long as you're burning more calories
than you're eating.

Just amke sure your diet is balanced, and yes, moderation in all things.

Hi,

Until recently I often had a sub from Wawa, which is like a Subway sub.
(Wawa is a large chain of min-markets here in PA.) I ordered a 10'
turkey sub, no oil, mayo, or cheese, and lots of vegetables. It was
extremely filling and only 509 calories. Based on my experience, I'd
suggest getting a Subway turkey sub, again no oil, mayo, or cheese. Or
you can go 'totally Jared' and get the vegetable sub.

As a footnote, Wawa also has the distinction of serving perhaps the
most unhealthy item I've ever eaten, a pepperoni and cheese bagel
sandwich - 700 some calories and brimming with fat. Dinner in the old
days would be one of these, often paired with another bagel sandwich,
and a large container of mashed potatoes. Easily 1500 calories for the
meal. Yesterday I had a tuna fillet with steamed vegetables, and an
apple for dessert. Only 360 calories for the meal.

Read 10". Sorry!

So what do you think of the pepperoni and cheese bagel melt?

http://www.wawa.com/foodchoices/nutr...cList=&traits=

Yum, 731 calories, 341 of them from fat. 18 grams of saturated
fat...... the fun never stops.

Sounds a bit excessive -- and not tempting to me -- makes me feel
overfull just to think about it!
