I am still lurking around
I am still around, I keep going to WW to WI every couple of weeks, not doing
great I have gained back 6 pounds and stopped my downward progression. Next week I am going to start going every week and staying at the meetings. I have not been staying but I need to do that. I want to try the CORE program but I am scarred to death of it. I am scarred I will really over eat. Who here is on CORE I can't remember. I always know that this group is here and I find support in reading all the messages that everyone writes in. Thanks guys, I am on this journey with thousands of others just like me, I have to remember that Lorna |

Hi Lorna...........good to hear from you again, it's been a while
I tried CORE for 3 weeks and had success. I went back to FLEX because I felt more in control of things by tracking and counting points. I have many people in my meeting that have lost enormous amounts of weight doing CORE. I've been thinking about giving it a shot again, but like you, I'm worried about overeating. My leader says to just pay attention to your body and try to gauge when you are truly satisfied - not over stuffed....... She also says to try CORE for at least 2 weeks in a row, just to give it chance to kick in. As I said, I think I stayed the same, then lost, then lost again.........but was scared of the points I was truly eating. I can honestly say that I never felt hungry and it's good to always eat healthy foods....... Now that I'm living without a working kitchen for a while I'm doing core again. I like not measuring my veggies and fruits. There's a lot of stuff on core that I like to eat regularly. I think the portion control experience of flex helps me keep a lid on the quantities I eat while on core. -- the volleyballchick |

I'm on core and do very well...We are told to eat to satiation,,,Heck
knowing where that actually is just a guess at first...I do measure my food...I after 8 months am aware of where satiation is (what a bizarre word)...Don't be scared...Take control...You are most of the way there...Your aware and want to succeed...The only thing to be afraid of is not moving forward...Glad your back...GG "Brown" wrote in message ... it scares the crap out of me also, that is why I decided to do it, I hate
things that scare me, I also needed a change, so I try and eat reasonably, when I think it is getting out of control I go back to measuring and weighing portions like I was on flex but I eat the core foods, I am actually starting to lose just a tiny bit now, Lee, glad you came back Brown wrote in message ...
