Default 1.4 lbs lost for a total of 46.6 lbs

Well, I have officially lost everything I gained in my two year stint of
attending WW meetings and not following program. Since the new Flex Points
started I have lost a total of 33.4 lbs. I originally join WW Dec 30, 2000
and lost about 45 lbs in the next 10 months, then it started slowly creeping
back up each week, well I should say it yo-yo back and forth each week with
more ups than downs. When they introduced the new Flex Points program last
summer, something clicked in my head and it has been working ever since. I
also started doing water aerobics about two months ago and have now lost
about 10 lbs since I started working out.

I went shopping a couple of weeks ago and bought some new clothes for work,
I have had more compliments on the skirts and tops that I bought and how
nice I look. It is nice to finally get some compliments about my successes
with my weight loss journey.

So far the oldest DD has not been too bad, even she lost this week. She was
funny at the meeting saying it was hard to eat all her points now that she
is home, since Mom only has low point stuff in the house and she is not at
the mercy of the choices in the dining hall at the University. She has in
12 weeks lost a little over 15 lbs, so she is doing exceptionally well too.

Well done both of you! And if the DD is having a hard time eating all
her points, give her a treat at the end of the day: glass of wine, a
Belgian chocolate, nice cheese, whatever... A little high octane reward
for staying with it! Or go out to eat on WI night and have a higher
count meal than you usually would to use up the spare points.

I find that cheese and biscuits mid week when I have too many points
'saved' will always claw back a few!

You're doing really well. Flex Points, water aerobics, and the CLICK
seem to be the right combination for unlocking the door to success.
Looks like you're on track to reach your WNM goal!

Congrats to your daughter as well. She's benefiting from your fine
example.

Woohoo Debbie! Congrats to both you and your daughter for your accomplishments.
I'm glad the flex system is working for you, sometimes it's just little changes in
things that can get us focused again.

Glad things are going well with your daughter now at home.

We actually went out to lunch after weigh in yesterday to her favorite
restaurant for Mexican food. She was funny though and said she should not
be rewarding herself with food when she has had a good week.

I know she will figure out something to have point wise when she is low on
that particular day. She is an ice cream fanatic so I think she will
indulge in that or maybe a real soda instead of a diet one when she has
points to spare.

Joyce,

I won't say things are going great with her home, as her and her sister were
arguing within five minutes of her arriving home on Monday evening. I told
them if they were going to do that, that she could go back to school as I
would not be putting up with her moods all summer long. I know it is hard,
but she reigned her temper in and things have been less stressful since I
told her that. We will see how things go after this week when they will
both be out of school for a few weeks before starting summer classes. The
two of them just don't get along and it can be very stressful.

Thanks for the Congrats.
