The Sun Also Rises (over my shoulder)
Jay Jay would know this as she stopped exercising for a while as I
remember. If i continued to diet but stopped weight lifting *temprarily*. could I expect to lose inches around my chest/back area? How long before seing results if it applies? Would I regain the tone when I started again? I am anxious to solve the bulk puzzle and see if it's from diet or exercise. |

I"m still playing catchup after the long weekend. 700 some posts and that doesn't include those I filter out. I'm lucky to stumble across this one. :-) I can't tell you how long it would take. It depends on how low you cut calories. The lower you cut, the more chance you have in losing muscle. Lower and continue with cardio too. (very low impact cardio - nothing weight baring). But honestly, I can't say if you'd take the inches off your chest. Ya know, ya can't spot reduce. If that were the case I'd be after losing the thighs. For me, I gained circumference in my chest from childbearing. And that is common in women to do. But I'm not talking boobage - I'm talking the actual expansion of the ribs and no amount of weight loss will ever take that away. |
