Weight gain mystery
About 8 weeks ago my wife and I replaced almost all of our food with
"organic" foods. We have been eating 4-6 small meals every day and are consuming a "healthy" level of calories for stable/slow weight loss. Throughout this time we have noticed signs of fat loss like our clothes getting loose, my wife's rings are falling off her fingers, visibly noticeable, etc. Now, the weird thing is that our scale is telling us we're gaining weight at ~ .5 lbs / wk. We don't understand it at all. Up until this point we haven't done any type of exercising that would increase muscle mass so I don't believe it's muscle gain. We feel great and are seeing signs of better health, but this weight gain is a trip. By-the-way, our current weight is that we're both about 15-20lbs overweight. Any ideas? Thanks, ~billy |

Thanks, ~billy THis does sound "illogical" I'd consider using different scales to see if that would give you different data. Or maybe put new batteries into your current scales or test it with things you know the wight of very accurately. |
