Default Maintenance

Hi Chris,

Keep going. But I know that once you at your goal weight, it's hard to stay
+ 3 pounds. As you have found, losing is easy, but maintenance is tough. I
mean hunger is not tough, it is figuring out what you need to eat to
maintain your new weight.

| Here is my deal.
|
| Lost all the weight I wanted to lose, thanks to low carb. Am below my

goal
| weight and trying to gain 4.5 pounds. The low carb WOE fills me up, but

am
| still losing weight on it. So how are people maintaining their goal

weight
| without losing too much? Do you add more calories? And maybe less
exercise?
| The best thing about low-carb was the no counting. Do I have to count
| calories just to maintain my weight?

Sorry Rich,
I can't even imagine your difficulty here. I just started in August,

after
being overweight for the past several years. I'm losing now, down 15 in

the
past 30 days. This WOE is fairly easy once you get used to it and the
pounds are coming off slowly but surely. People are beginning to notice.
The thought hasn't even crossed my mind as to whether I will stop losing
once I reach my goal. That is a concept I just can't grasp at this time.
Maybe you're the "incredible shrinking man". :-)
