Default Kind of Bad Day

Hello everyone,

Today, I was real lazy and didn't feel much like exercising. It's getting
colder outside and the wind was blowing pretty hard here in N. Texas. I did
go walk about two to three miles though. Usually I'll get on my stairmaster
for at least an hour, but not today. When I don't want to exercise it kind
of make me feel down, because I'm suppose to be going all out in losing
weight. I'm still eating better foods and portions compared to what I use
to, so I'm not feeling to bad in that department.

I hope everyone is doing ok and has a Great Holiday!

Sincerely,

Paul

Paul, we all have days like that. Just accept it and go on. It's
easy to let the cold weather get you down, even if you have a place
indoors to exercise.

Maybe one day soon when you feel like it, you can do a little extra to
make up. I take advantage of days when I'm in a cardio mood to do a
bit more than usual.

One of the real enemies of a weightloss program is getting down on
yourself if you don't live up to your ideals every day. It's easy
then to just give up. Remember that you don't have to be -- and can't
be -- perfect. Just do your best, and start every new day with a
positive attitude.

Take care,
Chris

Paul, hang in there! I actually felt the same way yesterday.
Thankfully I had planned ton going to an exercise class right after work
and I was able to force myself to go. I was more or less OK after that.
I think that the pot luck at work -- uh, worked against me. It was
just a lot of effort to pass up and someone made a comment (not
thinking) about the fact that I put lettuce salad on half of my plate.
It was actually my strategy (hey, if the plate is full) and I think that
he felt badly about it but then I felt bad because I didn't necessarily
want people to notice that I wasn't -- let's say "fully participating."
Anyway, I'm sure that you'll be back on track today and feel better.

We're all pulling for you

Have a great holiday!
