Default Recipe for a suprisingly good protien shake

Last time I was on LC I came up with a interesting recipe for a low carb
shake. It can be a good substitute for people who don't want or don't like
the prepackaged stuff. Ok, let's get to it.

What you need :

1/2 envelope Sugarfree Instant Jello or Pudding Mix (Just be sure to check
the carb count)
6 - 8 Ice Cubes
1 cup of water
6 Egg Whites (Yolks are up to you)

Put the water and ice into a blender and get it worked into a nice slush,
put in half a envelope/box of your Jello mix into the blender with your
slush in it. Get it mixed up and let it sit while you seperate your eggs.
Put anything else your going to put in like before the eggs. I usually put a
little salt into mine to enhance the flavor. Anyway dump your eggs in and
give it a few pulses, Try to keep the number of pulses as low as possible to
keep it from becoming really thick. Now just pour into a glass or 2 and
enjoy.

I like to use the chocolate pudding kind, I know it has carbs but it doesn't
cause me to stall. Actually it can be good on induction for those sweet
cravings. Another thing is that I like to make mine with Green Tea instead
of water, and a little bit of plain or dutch processed cocoa to further the
chocolate flavor. The green Tea lends a very sutle favor to it. I know it
sounds gross but it's something to try. I thaught mashed not potatoes would
be bad before I tried them. Well, I hope you at east try it and maybe you'll
even like it.

My standard recipes for protein smoothies usually contain whey protein
(almost no carbs; Designer Whey or Optimum Nutrition are great),
berries (blue, straw, wolf, etc.), some nuts, some ground flax seed,
some no/low cal. sweetener, some liquid of choice, cellulose powder
for insoluble fiber, some DaVinci's Sugar free syrups, if you like to
tweak the flavor, lots of ice, a little guar or xantham gum for
thickening(don't add this till the end). Usually terrific. Can be
eaten with a spoon. I usually sprinkle a little All Bran Extra Fiber,
Fiber One, and/or Atkins cereal over the top for more crunch!

SF Jello or Pudding mix makes a very large difference.
Half a pack of SF Jello would be about 1g carb.
Half a pack of SF pudding mix would be 12g carb for most flavors,
16g for chocolate.

Your suggesting the pudding mix for induction would nearly use up the
day's carbs in one shake. The carb count on the box is for the mix
only, not the mix prepared with milk.
