Default Splenda....how many carbs do you count it as please??


Hi...getting back to low carb...

have replaced sugar/sweet and low with splenda packets...says "less" than 1 gm
of carbs...how many do you count it as??

Personally I count them as 1g/packet.

1g per packet. If you use the bulk Splenda for cooking, it's 24g per cup.

This has me wondering, how much would be in an entire 2 liter of Diet Rite?
and would the various flavors have more or less splenda?

Commercial companies use straight Splenda, which is calorie-free. The
calories in what we mere mortals can buy is caused but the filler that
allows us to use the Splenda measure-for-measure with sugar.

my local grocer only had packets, which I already have. and I want to make
almond (corn) bread tonight!!! guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow and go
to Cub.
