Atkins? ;-)

Well, here are a few of the links I got from typing in "no flour no
sugar" into Google. Google good, mmm.

http://noflournosugar.tripod.com/
(Though this page is displaying very oddly on my PC, very squished up
text...)

And... from Dr. Gott's column at
http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/o...tt/c03gott.htm

"Q: I am concerned about my husband, who hasn't seen a doctor in
years. Since his retirement, my husband has been chronically hot all
the time, winter and summer, night and day. He sleeps with a fan
blowing on him, lives a sedentary life, is overweight and refuses to
exercise. What do you think his problem is?

A: Overweight people are frequently quite tolerant of environmental
cold; this is a normal physiological response. However, I'm concerned
that your husband's preference could reflect a metabolic abnormality,
such as an overactive thyroid gland. Therefore, I believe that he
should see a doctor and be tested. In addition, that testing should
also check for diabetes and high cholesterol, neither of which affects
the perception of cold but could represent a hidden problem that
should be addressed.

To give you related information, I am sending you a copy of my
Health Report Losing Weight, which includes my "no flour, no sugar"
diet. Other readers who would like a copy should send a long,
self-addressed, stamped envelope and $2 to Newsletter, P.O. Box 167,
Wickliffe, OH 44092. Be sure to mention the title."
