Default Potato Chip Craving

My desire for Potato Chips is gone this morning. Last night I tried Pork
Rinds / Pork Skins for the first time. I had read about them in this group.
It is a wonderful very low carb substitute.

My only gripe is that the Pork Skins had MSG in them. I should have read
that part of the label before attacking the bag, but they were sooo good.

MSG tends to make me a space-case for a day.

Heat a non stick skillet w/ very little oil, dust w/ shredded parmesan cheese
about 3 inches in diameter. Cook on high heat, flip when the cheese starts to
bubble. It only takes a few seconds, then let lightly brown on the other side.
Let cool.
They are thin, salty, and crispy. A great chip replacement. (make sure you
don't use too much oil, that will ruin them)

Look for a different brand.....both brands that I have (Baken-ets by
Frito-Lay and Macs) don't have MSG, just pork skin and salt. Pork rinds are
a life saver when it comes to my "salty/crunchy" cravings.
