Default Day 13 of 100 Days to Thanksgiving

Day 13 of 100 Days to Thanksgiving
253/244/195

Got on the scales just now and still I'm at 244 so still only 9
pounds gone in 13 days. (The indicator on the scale would have been a
little higher than 244 had I let moved it to my weight but I don't do
that. If I'm on a moderately reduced calorie schedule, I never move
the indicator higher because I know that over time the indicator will
go lower. Lots of things would make it go higher on a day-to-day basis,
including water weight, roughage, etc.)

Had about 1150 calories yesterday, 300 calories or so of them when I
returned home at 4:30 am with my son after his volunteering to help in
a relay race here in Portland, Oregon. (Hood to Coast.)

Yesterday walked up my hill with my 25 pound backpack and found it far
easier to do the journey up than I did two days ago. I had intended to
time myself up but I forgot to set the timer on the watch.

I violated yesterday a basic tenet I've been trying to follow lately,
that of getting to sleep at night on time or early. But from 11 pm last
night to 3:45 am, my son was doing volunteer work at the race and I
wanted to be there to help him. Worked out well, but I am going to
especially monitor my eating behaviors today. And it sure was fun
clapping and supporting the runners as they went by. (In a previous
life I had done a fair bit of long-distance running and some long relay
running but I don't think I was ever as fast as the runners I saw
last night. They were MOVING.)

I hope everyone has a successful day and that everyone meets the goals
he/she is aiming for!

Yours,

Caleb
