Default Calorie counting question.

Hi
My question is:
The frozen chicken breasts i use are Tyson skinless/boneless and are
198 grams for 170 calories. Do i count the Grams before or after
cooking? I tend to eat 2 for dinner and before cooking they are nearly
500 grams but after cooking on the grill they are around 250 grams.

thanks

Check the "servings per package" or "servings per _____" ... I find that most
informative ...

So, I would count grams before cooking. It seems like a more
consistent approach to publish raw meat's nutritional information,
since everyone's cooking methods are different.

Yes, I agree with you, as long as you don't use any fat in the
cooking process, in which case you'd need to count them after cooking.

I assume that you're getting your numbers ("198 grams for 170
calories") from the label itself? If so, that represents the
calories in the product before it's cooked, so weigh it first...
