Default Food & Exercise -- 8/4/2007

Went to hip-hop class as usual this morning, then ran a couple of
errands. After lunch I went to the pool for a while. This evening DH
and I went to a wine dinner at the winery. Rather than the normal
sort of dinner featuring their wines, this was a dinner with Spanish
wines and foods (sort of a tapas-style menu) -- very nice!

Food:

* 6:30 (home): oatmeal w/ peanut butter, flax seed, & dates
* 11:45 (after hip-hop): energy bar
* 1:30 (home): turkey burger on whole wheat bun w/ 3 slices f/f
cheese, dill pickle, & catsup
* 4:15 (pool cafe): small granola bar
* 6:30 -- 10:00 (wine dinner): ~4 glasses wine (various Spanish
wines); appetizers (melon wrapped in prosciutto; manchego cheese; hard
salami; olives); "Pan con Tamate -- Country Bread rubbed with Tomato
and Fruity Olive Oil then topped with Shaved Spanish Serrano",
"Champinones al Ajillo -- Mushrooms sauteed with Garlic, Olive Oil,
Sherry & Spanish Paprika"; " Patatas Bravas -- Hot Fried Potatoes with
Spicy Tomato Brava Sauce"; "Stuffed Piquillo Pepper -- stuffed with
Goat Cheese and Sea Salt"; " Paella Valencia -- Saffron scented
Spanish Rice simmered with Shrimp, White Fish, Mussels, Crab and
Chorizo"; "Albondigas -- Cocktail Meatballs in Garlic Tomato Sauce"; "
Arroz con Leche (rice pudding) {These were all small servings, and I
didn't finish everything.}

Exercise:

* 10:00: 1 hour hip-hop cardio class
* 2:45 -- 5:00: swimming: 3 x 15 lengths -- total 1125 meters
