Yea, this cold weather can make you a bit down in the mouth! But on the positive
side, you weighed in in jeans & they are heavy!! If you had been in your shorts, you would have had a loss! As it is, that is a maintain - so congratulations. Elaine K 331.4/202.8/179 Smharrington66 wrote: Hi All... A little depressed this week. Gosh, does it have to be cold in October? Just put my heat on! I was feeling so badly about life, that I actually underate one day! I've never done that! Anyhow, I went to weigh in this morning (in my jeans, not shorts as I have been for the past 4 months) and I was up .2 pounds. I suppose it's good for maintenance, however, I haven't added the 4 points to my target, as I still would like to lose. I hope when I do add the 4 points that the scale doesn't go berzerk on me. I really thought I'd be down this week. This is the first time I've been up in a long, long time. The only thing I can think of is that I ate very salty food last night. Oh well... You did well Sue - 0.2 is hardly anything to worry about. The jeans and the
salt have probably combined to do bad things. You'll do fine next week I'm sure -- Julie. 93.5/73.5/74 (WW)/72 (Personal) kg 205.7/161.7/162.8 (WW)/158 (Personal) lb "Smharrington66" wrote in message ... Hi All... A little depressed this week. I have fibromyalgia, which can give you what I call 'cold flushes', where you feel like someone has dowsed you in ice water, and you can't get warm again! I have had fewer if them since I started WW! I still feel the cold a lot more than DH or James, but not as much as I used to! Funny thing is, I hate excessive heat as well! -- Kate XXXXXX Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |

I am definitely running cooler with my weighloss.
And in Seattle, we are having the exact same weather. I got above the fog yesterday by going into the mountains. We were near 70F at 5,800 feet while seattle's high was only 54F On Sat, 4 Oct 2003 07:37:06 -0700, "Brenda Hammond" wrote: We are having lots of fog here first thing in the morning. I wear them around the house sometimes (if I'm not too cold). I find since losing some weight I am cold much of the time. Does anyone else find this happening? |

A few years I carried a small fan with me to most meetings because I
always felt warmer than anyone else in the room and people wouldn't allow me to lower the thermostat. Now that I've lost weight, I'm colder than anyone else in the room and people won't allow me to turn up the thermostat. I've taken to wearing long underwear and carrying a sweater with me. If I could type wearing mittens, I'd be in business. My constant chill is another reason my furnace outage is causing me such misery. 61 degrees in the house never used to be a problem.
