Default back and close to mini goal!

Hi y'all!

The last time I posted was around mid April. Boy has time flown! I was
away for a while dealing with a family thing and had little to no internet
connection. I felt like a borg disconnected from the collective g I was
happy to find that I did pretty well with tracking what I ate without having
the aid of FitDay. It was hard in the sense that I really had to stick to
things I knew the cal content of, but other than that, it went okay.
Another thing that helped was that my Aunt, who did most of the evening meal
cooking, was on a diet (TOPS); she was careful about not adding unnecessary
calories (butter, oils and such).

Anyway, things are still going very well with my WOE. Last time I checked
in I think I was at -25lbs. Since then I've lost an additional 9lbs which
brings my total loss to -34lbs. People are really starting to notice now
and I can see it myself too. I feel a lot better both physically and
mentally even though I'm not at my goal yet. I have 1lb left to lose to
meet my mini goal, which will also be the half way mark to my ulimate goal.
Way back in the beginning, I mentioned that it would be nice to have a bath
without touching the sides of the tub... goal accomplished! Yee haw! I'm
at the point now where I really should buy some new clothes. Everything
hangs off me. I can't really afford to buy a lot of new clothes and knowing
that I'll have to do the same thing in a few months time has been stopping
me from going shopping. So -- I've decided that I will go to a second-hand
shop for my "interim" clothing.

So I just wanted to let y'all know that I'm back and still on track. Hope
everyone else is doing well! I missed you guys!

Willow

Way to go, Willow! I like what you said about your bathtub goal :-).
Once I was reading the Weight Watchers newsgroup and saw that they
have a concept of Non-Scale Victories (NSVs), which are things like
that -- everyday things where losing weight makes a positive change in
our lives. I loved the idea, and started using it myself.
