Hot, hot, hot!!! : ) I do try to make my own, like tonight. I made grilled ahi tuna with salsa and mixed sauteed veggies (collard greens, broccoli, mushrooms) on the side. Yumm!! And, as you said, sometimes I buy the canned. I like Herdoz brand. Theirs is pretty close to mine. Martha |

I use a knife only, you can't do it in a food processor it makes it too
fine. You really want to see and taste the individual flavors. Roxan "Julianne" wrote in message news:zSneb.6729$k74.5109@lakeread05... I like mine with uniformed pieces and the my food processor doesn't do a
good job on chop, but it does save time. Roxan "Montgomery Hounchell" wrote in message ... It's quite simple. 3 or 4 good tomatoes (such as plum, heirloom, etc) 1 white onion (in Mexico, white onions are preferred over yellow) 1 to 3 jalepeno or serrano chiles to taste (I like serranos over jalepeno, but it's your choice) 1/2 cup fresh cilantro 2 limes Dice the tomatoes, onion and chiles into small bits. Chop cilantro and mix everything with the juice of 2 limes. Chill and serve. That's it! Martha |

Got it! In fact, I went to the produce store yesterday and if I can find a
few minutes of extra time, I will do this. j "MH" wrote in message news "Julianne" wrote in message news:1V5eb.6101$k74.376@lakeread05... Okay, I buy salsa and sometimes love it and sometimes don't. Oh, if needed, season with a teeny bit of salt.
