Scales and Weight
Last Friday, had my regular doctor's visit. Weight taken - as usual - with
me dressed and wearing my shoes. (279 - down from 335 3/4 the end of November) Also had them measure my height and delighted to find that my Physical Therapists constant nagging about my posture and slumping and to get my shoulders back and straighten up had paid off by a 3/4 inch height gain. Saturday night went into the Emergency Room after fainting at home. I was weighed a few times during my 4 day stay - with surprising results. The first weigh in was very early Sunday morning - in the ICU - where the bed actually comes up with the weight of the patient. 266. Apparently a day and a half in time and taking off my clothes resulted in a 13# loss!!! The second weight taken was 269, Monday morning, with just slipper socks and a hospital gown (aren't they lovely?) I am still using the GP doctor's scale weights for a base line - that's where I started back in November. Made for an interesting contrast though. Long discussion with the dietician - just keep on doing what I am doing. Also long discussion with the hospital Physical Therapist - just keep on doing what I am doing - at half the rate (advice already given to me by my PT). Sugar levels fine, blood pressure a little high, heart rate very low - will be headed for a pacemaker within a few years if that keeps up. Stress test next week. Jan 336 3/4 - 279?? - ?? Starting weight (November 2005) - Current weight (June 2006) - goal weight ??? Learn something new every day As long as you are learning, you are living When you stop learning, you start dying |

Scales and Weight
Gee Jan, a lot going up..
As for the scales, I'm one weight at the Dr, one weight at the gym, one weight at home and a different one at WW... The only scales I KNOW are calibrated are the WW ones.. so I go by those.. Take care of yourself and congrats for your success already !!! Will~ "JonquilJan" wrote in message . .. Last Friday, had my regular doctor's visit.
