Well, you have to give Ray a break here, Dan. He's probably never been in a
KK - unlike me.

There is no need to eat them at every meal nor are 9 billion people
going to want to. The fact that people are starving in the world has
absolutely NOTHING to do with there not being enough food.

9 billion people are not going to be able to eat steak, bacon, butter and
pork chops at every meal without creating an environmental disaster.
Already in many places in the world agriculture is outstripping the water
supply, and raising animals for their protein (who are often fed food that
humans could eat) uses at many times more water than raising the same food
to feed the livestock.

At some point, it will literally come down to taking the food from the
poor peoples mouths to feed to the rich peoples livestock.

The fact that there are too many people on the earth doesn't mean that low
carb isn't a good diet. It just means we should have fewer kids.

LMAO!

Millions of people ha e been doing Atkins for over 30 years now. You'd
think that some of those horrible effects would have been manifested in at
least some people by now. Please name one.

Cardiovascular problems? Heart attacks, angina, etc.? Wasn't there a
16-year-old girl who actually died following the Atkins diet, and a
man who's now suing the Atkins corporation because he had to have an
angioplasty because of it?

Oh, sorry, ... that's right, you can't. Because you know you're talking out
your ass with absolutely no foundation for your silly statement.

This is a logical fallacy called 'post hoc ergo propter hoc' (after this
therefore because of this). There's a big difference between someone
suffering heart problems WHILE on Atkins and someone suffering heart
problems BECAUSE of Atkins. It is very difficult to prove that it is not
a coincidental correlation.

Clinton had been on SB for months and no one is suggesting that the diet
is responsible for his quadruple bypass.

Atkins since 1/1/02 (yeah, it was a New Year's Resolution)
Besetting sins: good beer, German bread, and Krispy Kremes
