Default Whoosh Fairy visit

Despite the couple spoonfuls of tiramisu earlier this week (and to those
of you rolling your eyes at that despite, I believe, personally, that as
long as you don't get cravings and go overboard, while it's not a good
idea on a regular basis, in some situations it's best to do it, and not
worry) I have awakened this a.m. at 272. That's right. 272.

A new low.

I agree with this. Fanaticism is not good. It's about eating good food
in the staple diet, and then consider the other stuff "social food",
e.g. like alcohol is most often considered a social drink. Something to
enjoy every once in a while e.g. at a party/celebration. It's what you
do every day that makes changes to the body, not what you do one day.

Congrats - and I believe as you do. It is important to get a way of eating
that is going to work for you and is going to result in a downward trend. I
am not fanatical about what I eat, but try to stay on the straight and
narrow whenever possible. Having said that, I went out to a pasta
restaurant last night (family dinner and the restaurant was not up to me) I
ate a chicken scallopini dish - ate all the poultry and sauce but only
one-half the pasta. I consider that a success. Yes, I could have had just
salad, but I would have felt deprived and probably sabotauged myself later.
This way, I got a bit of a treat (for me) but still went away feeling good.
Up a pound today, but no big deal, I'll get rid of it soon.
