Your writing will be easier to read and look less like trolling or spam, so you'll be more likely to get serious answers. -- Aaron -- 285/253/200 -- aaron.baugher.biz |

wrote: ive been sticking to the daily caloric intake and im not getting satisfied with what im eating.anyone got any tips or advice on what i can eat while staying at the 1200 calories a day?thank you It's not the calories. It's what's in em. 1200 calories = 300 g of carbs (bad idea), 300 g of protein (probably over doing it), and 133g of fat (probably not the best solution, either). The trick is to find the point at which, along the continuum of 0 to 300g of carbs, will produce satisfaction. It's probably going to be 60. @60g of carbs, that's 240 calories, leaving you abundant options for your fats and proteins. But, deep down, we know that limiting calories to 1200 is a self defeating game. You'll get some progress, then will have to reduce to 1100 to get more progress. And you will never be able to maintain and eat normally again. Find a better approach. I'm going to recommend the Protein Power Life Plan by Mike and Mary Dan Eades. |

what can i eat on a 1200 calorie a day diet?

ive been sticking to the daily caloric intake Most low carb methods don't limit calories until near the end of the loss phase. Yet this is your first post on the topic. That's a red flag that suggest you haven't read any of the books on the topic. and im not getting satisfied with what im eating. Another violation of low carb principles. You are supposed to eat until satisfied. If you continue to be unsatisfied after a meal even at the end of the loss phases then you're not on an established plan. anyone got any tips or advice on what i can eat while staying at the 1200 calories a day? That few calories per day suggests your target weight is 120 pounds. Without any mention at all of your height and current weight that sounds too much like a wild overreaction. There's far too high a chance you have an eating disorder and any advice given here would be taken wrong. |
