Yoga?
Anyone taken Yoga? Could I lift weights before taking a Yoga class (1
hour, 10 minutes long). Unfortunately, other than "yoga," there's no explanation of what type of yoga this is. -- Bob M in CT remove 'x.' to reply |

I've heard that stretching after weight lifting can actually help increase strength, and since yoga mostly involves stretching, I say why not? -- -Michelle Levin (Luna) http://www.mindspring.com/~lunachick http://www.mindspring.com/~designbyluna |

My sole reason for taking yoga is to increase flexibility. I find that, while I stretch, I don't place emphasis on it enough. What I'll likely do is lift weights in the morning, then take my first yoga class in the evening. But I'd like to combine the two (lift at, say, 5:45 pm, then take yoga at 7pm). -- Bob M in CT remove 'x.' to reply |
