Default Week 17 and still going

Week seventeen this morning, and down 2.2 pounds from last Tuesday to 219.8!
Yay!

I've noticed for the last two weeks that my knees and feet don't hurt
anymore. Of course, I've lightened up a bit on yard work because of the
cool and wind, but still it's a joy to not hurt all the time. My MIL asked
if I thought the loss of weight helped with the arthritis pain and I told
her I think it does.

My next mini-milestone is to get to less than 20 pounds to goal. Maybe next
week!

I don't have arthritis in my knees but my mother suffered with it for
years. She always said the knees felt much better after she lost a few
pounds. My arthritis is in the neck and shoulder area. I think it's a
result of spending years at a computer terminal. Exercise seems to help
mine.

Interesting article, Bev, maybe there's hope that I can get back onto my
exercycle. I just may give it a try this week, see what happens.

Sounds like you are doing great, Dewolla. What kind of diet are you on.

I just want to point out that you have actually just passed a MAJOR mileston
- one that I am looking forward to myself sometime.

219.8 lb is 99.9 kg. That means you have passed under 100 kg and are now
into two digits! Congratulations!

Congratulations on your continued progress, Dewolla!

I believe that weight loss significantly helped my joints. If not,
the improved mobility and reduction in pain as I lost weight were
quite a coincidence :-).

Well, for that matter Dewolla, you've gone from being in the 19
stones to the 15 stones, which is a major achievement!
