Default NYNY, And it's FRED by two sticks of butter

Hey our big dinner is 11 days away. Reasonably speaking, I probably could
not actually lose more than a pound of fat in those 11 days unless I
Suffered some, and I don't want to Suffer. So I am behaving. And I am
going to eat in such a way on that day, that I don't actually Gain a pound
of fat either.

This was too freaking hard to achieve to let some holiday wipe it out.

The Southern Contingent seems to being hold her own quite well. I
think it's great that you were able to get yourself right back on
plan.

Planning for Thanksgiving this far in advance is a good idea. I was
thinking about treating myself to pizza tonight, but maybe I should be
thinking ahead as well.

Hey long lost sis, I'm beginning to think like you too. I decided last week that
I'm just not going to worry about Thanksgiving. It's ONE day, that's all. Plenty
of time to adjust before and after, might as well sit back and enjoy the day. I'm
not going to fuss too much, dinner will be at my MIL's house - no idea yet as to
how many will be there. I know my oldest daughter is bringing that wonderful
cheesecake and I will not refuse it! Portion control, that's gonna be my motto.

am going to make the traditional dinner, have fruit salad for breakfast that
day, and soup in the evening. Then at the big meal I am just going to
choose my portion sizes more reasonably that I would have in years past. No
faux mashed potatoes this year. I will do the winter squash mashed thing
instead of sweet potatoes, because I truly like it better. And pumpkin pie
instead of pecan.

Turkey day is going to be a challenge - but hopefully, not as painful
as last year - my first holiday on WW and attempting to stick fully to
program was terrible. I've since relaxed my standards on such days.

Yikes! Sure doesn't appear to be a promising day for a hike ... or anything else
for that matter. It's one of those days that I prefer to stay tucked into bed.

Yes, exactly. I am going to put about half of what I think I might want on
my plate, or a third, and keep in mind I can have more if I want. Then eat
slowly and enjoy every bite. My holiday problems in the past were mostly
from starting about Now to sample treats and ending up Jan. 1st with the
stomach to show for it and the new years resolution. My new years
resolution this year is going to be to not have to take off any weight. .!

We are going to a fancy buffet for Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's place
in Florida. I'm going to have to fill my plate up with lots of 0 point
veggies that night. Then I will get a bit of turkey and roast beef. If their
Thanksgiving buffet is anything like the one they have at Christmas, it will
be the dessert buffet that I have the most trouble with. Pie, cookies,
parfaits. You name it, it will probably be there.

It was like that most of the day. I friend came over and I made some
Latte's.

Tomorrow is suppose to be similar but accompanied by winds up to
50mph.
