Medium-size goal and large-size feet(Tayra) New shoes - littlefeet!
Sarah Wethered wrote:
Payless is my shoe store of choice -- I went there after every 5 lb celebration. I think I have all of the pointy-toed shoes they've had in for the last 2 years. They can be hit and miss, but they do get new stock in almost every week -- at least the one by my home. Sarah I bought a pair of 'dog-walking' shoes about five years ago... I don't have dogs, but you know the sort I mean: flat lace-ups for just trogging about in trousers. They were ecco Velcro tabbed 'lace-ups' and cost about £60, and are a European size 38/UK size 4 1/2-5. Nice and wide and comfy, like slippers! Unfortunately they are dead, after 5 years regular wear! As they worked out at about £12 per wearing year, I feel like I had my money's worth out of them and they owe me nothing. They still LOOK OK, but the heel's beginning to collapse inside, and the leather is wearing through over the little toes. They'll do fine for decorating in! So today, as I was in the shoe shop buying shoes for my 11 YO son, I took a look and bought some for me too! These ones are Rohde, UK size 4, and have a single big Velcro tab where there once were laces on shoes. These ones cost me £49.99, less £5 discount as I have a store loyalty card. James's shoes would have been £36, but I got £3 off them. With both of us having such wide feet (G fitting in Clarke's for both of us!), there's no point in buying cheap shoes. James tends to grow out of his, but my feet appear to be shrinking a size! Still, if I get 5 years out of these ones, as I did out of the previous pair, I shall do very well indeed. Shoes and bras... Never pays to buy cheap ones when you are an odd size or width! -- Kate XXXXXX R.C.T.Q Madame Chef des Trolls Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.katedicey.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |

Medium-size goal and large-size feet
Today's paper had an article about fitness wear and mentioned this
website http://www.footsmart.com/ I took a quick look through it and think some of their sandals might fit your specifications. They have a handy internal search and even another one within their clearance section. Good luck! Mary |

The one they had that I was most likely to get for casual wear, tho, the color I want isn't in stock in my size. C'est la vie. But thanks for trying -Tay |

Medium-size goal and large-size feet(Tayra) New shoes - littlefeet!
so true, and DH started having trouble with his feet, we spend about $200.00
for each pair of his shoes, he wears a 6E in width, it is some of the best money we spend, his feet rarely hurt and therefore his quality of life is greatly improved, and since his is better so is mine, Lee, odd sized all-round in this house Kate Dicey wrote in message ...
