She's one that at 7am as I'm leaving for work, she's asking me what we
are making for dinner. (note: 1. I am NOT a morning person and 2.
I don't think about dinner till about 5pm). Food is her primary focus
in life.

Not only is my MIL the same, but also my father and his wife. My X-mas
break down there was extremely stressful as a result.

MIL is coming back from FL in a few weeks and already emailing me asking me
where I want to go to lunch.

I absolutely feel for you.

So, I'll have 2 weeks for food frustration as I lose my kitchen to
her.

On the other side of the coin, I'll have limited visiting with them
this trip. Because of work schedules, new buildings, moving, etc -
I'm be working for the next 5 weeks without a day off (not even Sat or
Sun).

Aww shucks, that's too bad. I get out of spending too much time in the
situation by going outside and practicing my golf swing or taking a walk.

This means you get to choose, right? You must have someplace that's safe
to go? Or just say "I'd be thrilled to make us lunch!" ?

I'm going away in 3 weeks and I'll be cooking at everybody's house. I
bring my own knives, condiments and steelcut oats. They will all lose
weight g
