Hey all. Thanks for the posts! Its seems my vision gets clearer with
every passing hour. My left eye is clearer/sharper this morning. I am
told my vision will continue to get sharper by a vast amount over the
next week. The only thing is by late afternoon my eyes get this scratchy
feeling to them. I am told this too will pass once my corneas heal
completely. The procedure was really quick. They numb your eyes with
drops. Then they load you up on 2 different kinds of valium type pills.
You go into a room where they put this suction thing over your eye and
use a laser and cut a flap in your cornew..((painless)) Then you have to
get up and walk into another room where they perform the surgery. ((all
laser, no blades!!)) The flap part took about 40 secs per eye. The laser
part took a little longer per eye. Maybe 4 minutes tops. So your looking
at around 6 minutes tops. But I was there around 3 hours in all. Bunch of
pre tests and such.I got $500 off for a promotional thing. so I paid
$3100. Which I financed and make in payments of $140 a month.

@Ig. Dont think twice about it. Go and have it done as soon as possible.
The tech has improved 10 fold. They take a wave map of your eyes now
which gives you even a higher % of a good outcome.
