Default Opinions requested on soy milk and products

So I was over at New Seasons and came home with a few individual
packets of a soy non-carb drink. Supposedly, using skim milk as the
mixer you are supposed to have only 2g of carbs, nearly all your
required daily vitamins.
Any opinions from the group on these as weight losers?
And, what exactly are they for?
