All batteries are rechargeable, so as a result Rechargeable batteries are a
scam. Therefore all batteries are scams.

If you're fond of expending such effort for extremely dimishing return
over very few cycles, as well as risking your batteries exploding.

IMO, you'd be better off looking into altering your device contacts to
use rechargeable NiMH batteries.

I do think cordless phone batteries are pretty much scam, though.
They typically cost $15 or more in department stores, yet can be
bought from industrial supply for $3 to $5, if you can attach the
connectors to fit your model.
