Default From the 50's...LC advice

I was listening to some old time radio shows yesterday while doing some
work around the house, using my mp3 player. On the detective show, Jeff
Regan, he was telling his boss how to lose weight..."Cut out starches and
start exercising"...

These were done in the 50's I believe.

I have an 1960 vintage book called "The F plan diet" which advocates eating
high fibre vegtables. The eating plans are fairly low carb.
