Oregonchick vs. oregonchick

Just so everyone knows, the Oregonchick with the capital O is not me. I
believe it's Jenny, or One, or whoever she is now, since when I googled the
new me, it pops up in response to all of her old postings... Of course now
she will obviously change her id to match mine.

It's extremely obvious by the content (or lack thereof). Nothing I despise
more on Usenet than anonymous attacks. It's the epitome of chicken****

I'm not 100% convinced it's Jenny but obviously it could be. Could be that
sock puppet that was on here a short while back. Not that it matters since
anonymous attacks like that are the definition of pathetic loser.

Ah, shoot. In the first ones, the path to the forgeries was always
uberlin and then cox.net. The more recent ones not the same. As Nunya
said, it's easy to see from the content or lack thereof that it's not
you. I'm sorry that this is happening :-/

This whole impostor thing makes me wonder. First, does whomever is
doing it realize that making such out of character, flippingly insane
sounding posts in your name realize that that only screams "impostor"?
I mean, I didn't notice the change in the O's, but I knew instantly that
you were not the author. Wouldn't it be a much better tactic to make
only slightly bizarre, insulting, yet somewhat plausible fake posts?
You know, something that has a chance of making the rest of say to
ourselves, "Hmmm, she must be having a rather bad day" rather than "Wow,
no way in hell is that her."

The second thought I had is about Jenny, who I also suspect is the
culprit. If so, then there is no doubt that she is now a textbook case
of an internet troll. But still I wonder, did she start out that way?
When she first started posting I thought she was a sincere, if somewhat
misguided young lady. Did she come to a.s.d expecting to be coddled and
praised for her good intentions, despite her almost complete lack of
follow-through? Did she then become bitter when she didn't get her
rounds of "Oh, you poor thing!" that she anticipated, turn bitter, and
thus evolve into a troll? Or did she carefully orchestrate her posts
from the beginning with the intention of getting the maximum bang for
her trolling buck?

Frankly, both scenarios seem likely to me.
