Well, I made my goal plus this month, but I'd hoped for a little more.
Getting antsy to see 200 and then 100 pounds down. Dang TOM at the end of
the month, too, so I'm up in water weight.

This month wasn't as good as others, but I was still successful. My clothes
are definitely getting looser, so I know I'm still losing inches. Don't
know why the scale doesn't show it... Next month, I'm upping my exercise
since that kind of went awry with family stresses right now.

I bought the offline version of Fitday and I love it! So much faster than
tracking online, and it's got a few more features.

Made goal yesterday. 269, 6 lbs lost for August. I'm basically
bouncing around foor the month then around the 15-20 paying more
attention and dropping pretty consistently the second half of the
month. If I stay on track more I think I could lose a little better.

For september I'll maintain the same rate for the challenge, 6 lb

Started Jan 12, 2004

I'd like to score 9lbs but that depends upon me being really good and
maybe finding a higher activity level. In the meantime I'm happy with
my current rate. It is easy to keep up, I'm getting to enjoy foods
that I've always enjoyed eating and I just found that I can't shop in
big and tall mens store anymore cause their stuff really is too big. I
just bought a pair of Ralph Lauren jeans, 42 waist. Down 10 inches on
waist.

This morning I weighed in at 242. Even after my vacation in Austin/San
Antonio I still made my August goal of 245 - plus a couple of extra
pounds for good measure.

At 242, that makes a grand total of 150 pounds gone in a little over
10 months!

For the month of September, let's shoot for 9 pounds. That will take
me down to 233, just 8 pounds from my goal weight of 225.

And I have a beautiful new motivation to stay on the program - her
name is Mary!

Good luck to everyone!

How did you do????????????

Down a total of 6 pounds. My weightloss has slowed down. I am still hanging
in there though. I am making this my way of eating for good. It is still
working for me. Did not make my Aug. goal of 11 pounds to 155. Came up 5
pounds short.

Final stats for Aug.

Hi Carol Ann,

It's been 1 month and 5 days since I started Atkins. I'm sorry to say
that I've hardly lost 1lb during the month.

Two weeks into the diet (induction) I was 5-7lbs down, but have seemed
to have stalled and even gained weight since then.

The GOOD news is that I'm still about 1.5 inches down at my waist, and
several people have told me I seemed to have lost weight - it may be
the workouts that are converting fat - muscle.

So I would like it if you would put down 1lb and 1inch down for me.
I'm trying hard to get out of the post-induction stall now.

Thanks for your support.

Regards.
