Default Day 14 of 100 Days

Day 14 and still at 230.

Actually, had quite a few calories last night – a bit more than 2500 –
and I'm glad my scale didn't try and go too much higher than it did.
(We went out to dinner with my mother in law and I started in on a
beer or two. Ouch! Today and tomorrow I will be extra good.)

We went up our little hill last night and had a great time on a
beautiful day! This morning, my wife and I have been laying new vinyl
in our son's bathroom, and will swap out the toilet as well. It takes
drive and determination to do something like this, and that's the kind
of drive and determination my wife has!

I'm putting out a pitcher of ice tea for me today and I hope to limit
myself pretty much to that.

I hope everyone has a great day and a great week ahead!

Yours,

Caleb

Your doing great Caleb. Good luck with the iced tea. Black coffee works well
for me, and I drink gallons of it, it seems. Mostly I do between 400 and 500
cals per day. My most recent 7-day average is 424. Our no-new-taxes governor
took away my fitness center at the Univ. of Massachusetts so most of my
exercise these days is walking, and I do one to four miles a day. This diet
might seem sparse, and I'm not swinging a sledge hammer all day, but 12-week
VLCDs are commonly recommended. I see no ill effects, and I feel great.

Took my belt in another notch today. I meet my primary care person for an
annual inspection on 9/13, and I hope to be well under 200 for her!

Happy tiling,
Lazy

Lazy -- GREAT FOR YOU!!! If you don't mind, I'd be interested in what
your medical care person says about your progress, but I'm sure he/she
will be astounded at your overall health improvement. EXCELLENT!

And great for meeting your calorie goals too! My wife cooks for
herself and our son and sometimes it's difficult for me not to
participate. But I'm going to try to meet your 500 calorie target
today. Mondays are particularly good for me.

GREAT JOB!

Yours,

Caleb
