Default Maybe I can encourage someone

Hopefully, I can give a bit of encouragement to someone in this group. Lord
knows, I've needed it! Still could use it, at times. I'll try to be brief.

On Jan. 9, '03, I started a weight-loss program. I was then at 214. What I
am doing is just the old fashioned food pyramid-type thing, eating between
1000 and 1200 calories a day. What I have found is that most people start
to get hungry between meals because they don't eat ENOUGH of the right
things. This had been one of my downfalls in the past. Also, as slow as it
sounds, a pound or two a week is a great thing. I know so many folks who've
lost it fast, only gain it right back. When you learn to eat balanced
meals, you'll be more inclined to want to continue it for a lifetime. In
the past year and a half, I've gone from 214 to 144. I am 56 years old, so
don't say you're too old to lose the weight. I'd struggled for so many
years! Keep up the good work, all of you!! You can do it!

Sue -- Great job! 70 pounds gone in a year and a half! Terrific job!

Keep it up! (Or down, as the weight may be.)

Yours,

Caleb
