Default Diet Contest Help Needed

Come on, obviously eating right and exercise are the way to go, I just
wodered if you had any quicky ideas for the final weeks. It's not going to
kill me or change my life, just wanted to hear a trick or two....

- Shabby

P.S. you all seem very serious about all this....chill a bit.

Yes, from what I've seen in my short time in this group folks around here
do actually take their LC WOL seriously. Most people do when they've
completely changed their eating and exercise habits for the positive and
have enjoyed the results. It's a serious matter, not something to do on a
whim or just for a couple of weeks in an attempt to win a silly bet.

While I can see that the competition angle might give you an extra kick in
the pants and engender extra inspiration, it's pretty ridiculous as a sole
motivating factor when compared to those here who have shed 100+ lbs. and
added years to their lives through well thought out and dedicated LCing
combined with exercise.

You've managed to insult and devalue the accomplishments of everyone here
just by claiming that you aren't LCing for the long term, but are just
looking for quicky results. I'm sure there's a group out there for binge
and purgers in which you might find your answers, but you won't find it
here.

Ah, well, that's the point, you see. We're doing this because it has changed
our lives, for the better. No-one cares aout your babyish contest. Come back
when you want to lose some weight longterm.

Nicky.

Don't be stupid.

What you're doing is not advised, but it's your body and your experiment.

Start lifting weights and keep doing cardio everyday. If you want to catch
up to them, you'll need to try to burn at least 800 kcals a day in cardio -
every day, plus doing 1 hour 3X per week of weight lifting - full-body
routine. Keeps your calories at about 1200 per day, making sure to stay at
20 to 30 g per day, eating plenty of veggies (eat them raw with little or no
dressing or oil - try brocolli and cauliflower - neither have many calories
but will help fill you up). I suggest you eat 4 meals at 300 kcal each, per
day. Do 400 kcals of cardio in the am and another 400 kcals in the pm. Try
go get about 120 g of protein per day (120*4=480kcals) When you weight
train, do cardio AFTER, not before. If you don't like running, try
bicycling or swimming, or something you do like.

At the end of the 8 weeks, do a 36-hour fast before the weigh in, drinking
only water during that time.

If you follow this advice, you'll win even if you lose by the scale. If you
don't win by the scale, kick the guy who wins ass, as he'll likely be a
weak-ass punk by then.

regardless of why you're doing it, i hope you realize your BMI is 31.7
and you're considered OBESE. I hope that you find that you feel better
doing low carb and that you can easilly get back into the normal range
living this way. You can't rush this. it almost sounds like youre
some highschool girl who cant fit into her prom dress by how hastilly
you want the weight off, regardless of your health. if i were you,
with all the strain on your already taxed heart, i would look into
losing the weight for the long haul and DO NOT USE any drugs or
chemicals to help you in your stupid contest. i dont know how long
youve been OBESE (yes, youre way fat) but your blood pressure is higher
because of it and probably cholesterol/triglycerides... etc. take a
look at yourself and stop being a stupid person. i saw you say we were
all very serious about low carbing... maybe youre just not serious
enough about your health, but i wont delude myself into thinking im
going to live forever. im going to extend my life as long as i can.
how long are YOU going to live ****ing around with your health?
