The End of an Era :-)
So, I decided yesterday (while I was out hiking on the mountain :-) )
that it's time to stop posting my food & exercise to the list. I don't think it's a tool I need any longer. My long-term goal has always been to be able to live life as a normal-weight person with a normal relationship with food and exercise, and I think the tabulating involves a bit more obsessiveness about those things than I want for the long term. So I plan to continue living as I do but not making daily lists. I do plan to keep reading ASD and participating in discussions. Chris |

This is a bit like the thirteenth step of a twelve step program, moving beyond recovery to a new status of health. If one in a thousand acheives that it's a lot. My long-term goal has always been to be able to live life as a normal-weight person with a normal relationship with food and exercise, and I think the tabulating involves a bit more obsessiveness about those things than I want for the long term. I'll stick around. But I hope the list gets back to having a bit more interesting content, rather than so much spam and political gibberish. Chris 262/130s/130s |
