Default Big Eaters Question

If you were to eat anything and everything, how many calories could you
eat in one day. Could you eat 10,000 calories or more? I have probably
eaten 20,000 calories in one day. I have eaten as much as 5 pounds of
pork steak floured and fried with ketchup at one meal and that didn't
even count the rest of the day.

gosh, i wonder. I really do. I, like most of my family, can definitely
pack it away. As a kid, I once ate a whole package of fig newtons. On
another occasion, 7 pieces of fried chicken, and another time 7 slices of
pizza. This was all before I was 10 years old though, doubt I could do it
now without getting sick.

3oz pork loin is under 200 calories, so five pounds (sounds like an
exaggeration, that's equiv of 25-28 pork chops) is 4000-6000 calories
depending upon how much of the fat and gristle you consume.

If you focused on high caloric density foods I'm sure you could reach
an impressive/scary number. When counting calories I've never exceeded
3700 and I think that number was high because of beef fat that is
included in USDA that I really didn't eat.

My worst pigouts in memory--a package of oreo double stuffs (2500
calories) & half gallon of milk (1200 calories). I don't think I ate
much else that day though. Probably just soda/iced tea which would
have added several hundred more. I could definitley see getting into
the 4000s. But unless something psychological is driving you, I would
expect appetite to dive off in compensation, so it would be self
limiting. ANd big days often are followed by little days from my
experience, so the averaging over that week would balance it out some.

I worked with this really skinny guy who had to eat all the time. he could eat a
5 gallon tube of banana ice cream at once while playing video games. though he
usually made it last two days (G)

I used to eat 6000 + a day when I was into lifting and throwing weights. I
am glad I don't do that anymore. I suppose I eat between 2,500-3,000 a day
now.
