Body mass index
Body mass index (BMI) or Quetelet Index is a statistical measure of the
weight of a person scaled according to height. It was invented between 1830 and 1850 by the Belgian polymath Adolphe Quetelet during the course of developing "social physics". Here you can calculate your BMI and see if you have standard weight or not: http://www.important-vitamins.com/body_mass_index.html |

The ideal weight range probably varies by about 20 pounds 9 kg. Bob |

Body mass index
..
i've read recently, that your waist size, compared to your height, is a good indicator of your "health" simply, your waist should be less/no more than 1/2 your height i'm 69" tall [5' 9"] so, ideally my waist would be less than 34.5" [1/2 my height] waterboy |
