Default I found a low carb buddy

I been friends all week with a young lady at school, and just found out today,
she also is low carbing, along with her parents!

They just started low carb dieting a few weeks ago. She had some questions, and
I was able to answer them easily. She put on a lot of weight from meds. Mainly
predisone. She showed me a old pic of herself. A old ID. She had the moon face.
Her pants too, hanging off of her. Thought about inviting her to go along with
me, on browsing and trying on some dress slacks, that will fit better. Or at
least a few new belts.

She seen me having a snack, and it gave the low carb diet away. Then she pulled
her snack out too, and thats how we figured it out. Both of us low carbing. I
had a few olives, pecans, and strawberries for my snack. She had some cream
cheese filled celery. Both of us water bottles.

Anyway, its great. To meet in person, be freinds with another who is low
carbing also.

It's a typical side effect of prednisone (that she mentioned the
other person was on).

Oh, so the person has a face that sort of looks round like a saucer?

Google is your friend Rog.
Put that med in the search, see what ya come up with. By golly, maybe we do
learn something new every day.

The picture she showed me. Her face was very round. I can spot a person out
most of the time thats taking predisone. She had a lot of chin chubbiness. She
is at goal weight, she started low carbing awhile back. Its wild. Her parents
just started. To see someone a normal weight in person, right up close. Then
find out they are low carbing. Its something. She is very supportive. Says I
can get to her size, which is a 8. Wow, you know what? I beleive I can!!

Then word got around I lost the 70 pounds. Classmates congratualting me.
Wanting to see a before pic. I don't have one. I expalained to them what it was
like before the 70 pound weight loss. Huge hips and booty. Hey, my breasts
stick out more so than my stomach too.My stomach feels so much more flat. I
used to have big thighs.

There are a few overweight classmates. Some sit around the computers and eat
candy and drink pop, and I don't know what to say or think. To each their own.
Better to stay quiet I think. I don't like hurting anothers feelings.

It reminded me with chairs at desks. What it used to be like with that weight
on me, when I went to school before. Fat overhanging the sides of the chair. Or
couldn't pull all the way up to the computer and desk. Because of the belly
sticking out. Or, another trying to get around you, behind your chair. How
embarrassing it was. How ashamed I felt.

This one time.....5 or 6 years ago.....I was giving an exam...a cute girl
sitting right in front of me at the front of the room... where I was sitting
in a chair. That chair collapsed under my weight - depositing my big butt
right on my back on the floor. She looked in my face and laughed....that
was sooooooo embarrassing! Then I had to pick myself up in front on an
entire class...
