"jayjay" wrote in message ... Someone has brought in a fudge sampler today. Left it in the kitchen at work. I went in to get my bowl and spoon to have my cereal and there it was in all its glory. Many different flavors. I had to try the pumpkin cheesecake and the peanut butter and now I'm locking myself in my office until the rest of the office vulchers devour it all and its gone. Too much temptation. Yum! You chose my favorite flavorsg It's hard this time of year when everyone wants to bring these type of goodies to work to share. You've done the right thing by staying away until they're gone. I just wish they would keep them on their desks instead of putting them in central locations. One of my co-worker's wife teaches culinary classes at a local college. Each year he brings in two large boxes of baked goods and candy. These things not only taste good but the presentation is always fabulous. They should hit the office next week so I'll probably need to post a similar message soon. Stay away from the office kitchen. Maybe we could talk these people into bringing fruit and veggie trays next yearG Beverly "No. No. Our private conversations have not been such that I'm anxious to continue them. Just think, the time you spent typing this wasn't spent eating fudge! :-) I think there's an unexamined idea that you need to sample each flavor to make the determination about which one you like best. But if you examine that concept you'll realize that you already KNOW that you'll like some of them better than others and it really doesn't matter. Because fudge is MEANT to be liked. It's there purely for mouth entertainment. Good luck with your temptations! Dally - still mostly lurking 244/170/165 |
