Default Oops! Day 47 and still 23 gone (had published under Day 46 -- my bad!)

Day 47 and still 23 pounds gone

Got on my scale this morning and saw I had not lost any more weight.
Actually, I got up an hour and a half earlier than I wanted and peered
at the scale numbers in the dark (without my contact lenses on, I'm
blind) and saw that they had not moved. Oh, well! I had hopes. (And my
excite at the possibility of my having lost a pound seems to me to be
a measure of my motivation.)

Had about 1600 calories last night and that's a little too high for
me, so I will cut it back today.

I'm going to make a list of the foods I'm focusing on and will take it
with me to the store today, including: chicken, canned vegetables,
cabbage (and other veggies), potatoes, cup of noodle soup, rice, tuna,
V-8 Juice, non-fat milk, oatmeal, Turkey meatloaf (pretty low-calorie
from Trader Joe's), tea (including decaf for the evening), low-cal TV
dinners, eggs, etc. I want to make sure these are available in the
kitchen for me and that high-calorie foods are not. I'm sure different
people would have different lists to guide their buying and eating
behavior.

I hope everyone has a great Friday, a great weekend, and a great week
ahead!

Yours truly,

Caleb
