How to consult with a physician if you have no insurance or money?
Perhaps read a book by a doctor on some flavor of diet. If the book is 5
years old, a used book could be almost free. "Merchantprince" wrote in message newsXzai.4932$%H5.2594@trndny03... I am desperate to get on a low-calorie diet, but have no means to consult with a doctor or afford some diet program like Nutrisystem. Is there any way to consult with a doctor free of charge? What I'm looking for is a 1500 calorie per day diet that is painfully simple to follow. If I could just eat the exact same, easy-to-prepare meal every day, I could follow it. Willpower is not the issue, and I could easily eat the same thing every day if I could only figure out what I need to do to make it work. Thanks, John |

Um Merchant, are you one of those folks who has lost weight and then
becomes a know-it-all unable to relate to having been overweight because this is the rudest reply I have ever seen. If you have good social skills, maybe you can befriend a physician, or
find a friend of a friend physician who would spend some time answering your questions out of social obligation. I cannot think of any other ways of consulting a physician for free. You may as well start eating your 1,500 calories per day without consulting a physician, as countless people did. i |

Try this link http://www.freedieting.com/1500_calorie_diet.htm it is a simple to follow 1500 calorie diet. I would suggest you not eat the same thing each and every day, as it would more than likely not give you a balanced diet, and even though weight loss is a great goal the ultimate goal should be weight loss and good health. I you want something with a little more variety try this site http://www.drgourmet.com/index.shtml The best way to lose weight is to diet and add exercise to build muscle. Building muscle will help speed up your metabolism and assist in the weight loss and help you to look and feel better. I have a blog you can check out. http://fast-workouts.blogspot.com/ The plan I talk about there I used, and lost 60 lbs. It took me over a year, but was well worth it. Anyone who says it is easy is lying. Anyone who says you can lose weight ( and keep it off) by diet alone is lying. You sound determined!! That is half the battle! Don't listen to smart ass comments like "just eat less" as much as it is the truth it is not helpfull. Good luck with your weight loss goals. |

I use Fitday, and really like it. Thank you for telling us about Fitday. This is just what I have been looking for. I know this article was posted almost a year ago but it has been helpful to me. I had never heard of Fitday before. I hope this helps me lose that last 20 pounds I have been working on for months. I lost 31 pounds by going to a weight loss clinic and taking a prescription med but it seems like it quit working the last few months I took it and I decided I had to do the last 20 on my own. Thank you for helping. If anyone else has some good information that would help I would appreciate it.
