Why does bread make me lose control on my hunger???
Well not every culture eats bread at all. You don't need bread - just
some sort of staple. Rice, pasta, noodles and potatoes (if cooked correctly) can all be as healthy and provide the same function. And you wouldn't spread sugary jams all over potatoes . . . I'd hope MadJock 204/191/165 (Nearly at his first stone!!) You're absolutely right, Madjock. I will avoid bread for some time, and eat pasta and oatmeal for now. And what is a correctly cooked potatoe? And no, no jam on potatoe! hehe. Denis 'Correctly cooked' was meant to apply to all of the staples I mentioned. By this I mean to cook them in a way that doesn't involve adding extra fat (i.e. don't fry), and keeping in the nutrients. I'd boil rice, pasta and noodles, and steam potatoes in their skin. Potato skin is very good for you. MadJock 204/191/165 |

Why does bread make me lose control on my hunger???
i might as well eat the candy bar and get it over with, if i am going
the "bread route"! -- read and post daily, it works! rosie i like your christ, I do not like your christians, your christians are so unlike your christ. ..............................................gand hi "Denis Morissette" wrote in message om... Bread seems to be one of the few foods that makes me lose my control on my newly acquired good eating habits. I keep it 90% of the days at 1500 calories without any efforts. But when I eat bread, I eat a lot! The other day, I ate 10 slices of peanut butter and sugar-free jam and marmelade in one meal! I just could not stop! What's about bread that opens up my hunger??? Here I am talking about whole-wheat bread. |

It's made with sugar substitute and while it isn't sugary sweet, it' sa nice combination of tart and sweet. Jenn 300/145 |
