Well, many of you will remember that my new scale is 6 pound sheavier than
my old one. So, before christmas, I was at 149 pounds.

Finally on this one, I weighed in this morning at 155 pounds. So, I'm back
to where I was before the holidays.

Now it's time to lose more weight. I have 26 pounds to go...

I don't think you're alone with being back to where you were before the
holidaysG I managed to gain a couple pounds and getting back to the
regular woe/wol soon solved the problem. I'm sure you'll tackle those few
pounds quickly, too.

Hi Martha,

You go Girl! You can and will lose the weight! Remember that weight can
fluctuate several pounds in a day due to water. Your probably not as far
off as you might think you are. I wish I only had 26 pounds to go ...lol
I have 57 pounds to go.

Good luck and keep up the great work,

Paul

Whoosh! I was about to put up a Whoosh Fairy post, too. I've dropped
four pounds this week bringing me to a full 1.5 pounds below what I
weighed just before Thanksgiving (for a moment.)

Now it's time to lose more weight. I have 26 pounds to go...

Ug. Yup, it's not over, is it? At least we know how to do it now!

Sadly, I'm realizing that I've lost enough LBM that I really need to set
my goals lower so I've still got 16 pounds of fat to go. I aimed for
180 for a full year so I'll still be thrilled when I hit that, but now
I'm aiming for 170. (Honestly, I should just watch and see where Chris
lands and follow her lead!)

A nice thing is that I can see where the fat stores are coming from. I
mean, I can SEE the lumps disappearing. I have some spider veins that
used to be on the downhill side of a thigh saddlebag and now they're
sitting flat on my leg with the saddlebag being smaller and higher up.
Yes, that's right, my THIGHS ARE GIVING UP THEIR BOOTY!

I've lost 3/4" off my saddlebag measurement and 1/2" off my poochy
belly-button measurement in the past two weeks. Hip hip hooray!

Isn't it strange the way fat empties out? I haven't lost ANYTHING from
my arms, bust or waist or calves this time - it's as if they've already
done their part and now it's thigh-time. Not complaining, just noticing.

I dunno about this. I still have no clue where I want to end up.
Ahmed would like me to stabilize just below 165 (a weight class
boundary, and it's advantageous to lift at the top of your weight
class).

I sort of feel like I'd like to lose a little more weight but not a
lot more. Clearly if I lost a lot more -- like got down to 120 lbs.
or something -- I'd be losing a huge amount of muscle. That idea is
repellent to me. I'd kind of like to know what my BF% is now. I'm
not sure how accurate a caliper test is, though, when one has loose
skin as a result of large weight loss.

A nice thing is that I can see where the fat stores are coming from. I

Congrats on your changing measurements! (and on the recent woosh)
I've been seeing change in the belly lately and I'm happy with that.
I was already pretty happy with everything else. I'd like to get rid
of some of the loose flesh, but that's a different issue.

Chris
