today is a perfect example of why I love it. We traveled this week, I
mostly made good choices and I think the bad choices are covered by my
flex
points. I have let the journaling get away from me. Rather than getting
all stressed out or being upset, I am going to eat reasonably for the
rest
of the day and begin my journal tomorrow the first day of my week, I made
this decision when I was getting my tape together to record my journal, I
also had activity points from walking, I am not going to be upset, and
just
because I am not counting my points for today it is no excuse for going
hog
wild and eating everything in sight... I have learned that I simply MUST
journal as I go and that is that, Lee

When you say 'journal' do you mean recording everything you eat? And the
point value? Do you use that mini-booklet they give you at meetings? Do
you record anything else like hunger levels - stress levels - whether you
enjoyed the meal? inquiring minds....

My handwriting is horrible so I use an excel spreadsheet to journal. I
record everything I eat plus their point values. There also a spot to record
activity points earned as well as how many daily/weekly flex points I have
left. I also have a page that I record my weight for the week with a graph.
I don't record my feelings in the spreadsheet but that would be useful for
folks to keep tabs on if they felt it would help them.
