Default Day #2 and NO COFFEE

I'm jonesing for one real bad! I'm trying to give up coffe. I said
TRYING. It was easier to give up carbs than my CAFFEINE!! I have a
headache, I feel sluggish,I feel bitchy, and I miss my SF carmel
coffee!!!! Wahhhh! Just needed to whine!

Hey, I hear you. I still haven't cut it out, and the other day I was really
wishing I could have a regular cup with my cream and honey. Now that I
think of it that way, its more like dessert. But you're right, it's easier
cutting out the carbs than the caffeine.
I've cut down about half of what I used to drink and now its usually black,
or with some cream.
Best of luck to you.
Monica.

Default Day #2 and NO COFFEE

I was able to quit a 4-cup a day habit in one weekend. Had a dull lingering
headache for two days, then nothing. All better. I do still love my
coffee, however. The only decafe that I have found that is anywhere close
to my regular coffee is Starbucks House Blend Decafe Whole beans. If I
hadn't found this, I would probably still be drinking 'real coffee'.

My 2 cents.

Did you observe a need to give up caffeine when you were LCing
before, Laureen? If not, you may not need to. At any rate, you
will have a much easier time if you decrease your consumption
gradually.

I drink too much decaf to waste money on specialty brands like Starbucks.
I prefer Chock Ful'o Nuts decaf, which is not as bland as other common
supermarket brands of decaf.
